| The Blast Ministries has a new payment processor for American donations called MyWell (and we have a new one for foreign donors only called Givengain–see further below).
Our new USA payment processor is MyWell, which specializes in working with churches and other non-profit Christian ministries to help keep the ministries’ transaction fees down compared to those charged by a lot of their competitors. AND NOW YOU CAN DONATE BY CHECK ONLINE. That only costs us 30 cents per transaction. You can also donate by debit card, which in most cases, costs us significantly more per transaction*. And you can donate with credit cards, which cost us significantly more per transaction than debit cards, especially credit cards that are American Express, Discover, and cards that are cash-back/rewards/mileage cards** * ** If you are giving $7.50 or less through MyWell, it appears we will be charged less in fees if you pay by debit card via MyWell. * **If you are donating more than $7.50 we’d like to request that you pay with an electronic check, as that will, in most cases, cost us the least amount. In the MyWell portal, you can set up one time donations; or you can set up donations that come out weekly, monthly, every 2 weeks, or on the first and the 15th. We do pay a monthly flat fee to MyWell based on the first 100 donations. Beyond the first 100, we go into the next monthly fee tier…so for those who are donating weekly…please consider converting that to once a month (but only if you are able to and are comfortable doing that). NOTE: We are NOT accepting any new donations through Paypal (other than those who are still subscribed to automatic recurring Paypal donations at the below listed amounts). So please do not do what one donor did on 3/28/21, which was…he guessed at the email address tied to our Paypal account (he guessed wrong) and now Paypal is sitting on his $10. Please don’t do that.
