Independent Bands, promoters and record labels seeking airplay on TheBlast.FM stations:

Unsolicited song files (especially from bands we have never heard of) are not accepted.

Start by sending a an email to airplay at theblast.fm  with a listen link to the ONE song that you think best fits one of our formats and is your best shot at airplay.   (For those who ask, yes that is the email address).  And no, we will not listen on streaming services.  Send us a link on Soundcloud, Youtube, or your website, for example.

Bands that also send us lyrics for the song, a bio, band testimonies of faith and a pastoral letter of reference will receive the most consideration.

If we like what we see and hear, we will request that you send us the song for further  airplay consideration.

If that happens, make sure your song is tagged as Band-Song.

We get so many submissions, and many of them have just the name of the song in it.  Think about that.  That is a good way to get lost in the pile.  If you are trying to make a name for your band and you are one of hundreds of bands vying for airplay, does that help make a name for your band if the metadata of the demo you are sending only has the name of the song in it?

And yes, we are licensed through ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and Sound Exchange.
